The Kalimba is an instrument that originates from the African Continent. It’s made from gourdes to shells of dried fruit and nuts, to wooden blocks. Through the music of contemporary music groups like Earth, Wind and Fire, we see the Kalimba now manufactured as sophisticated amplified instruments seen in modern bands all over.
